The First Things of Creation_02 Genesis 1:1-2 [The Basic Questions of Creation] There are primarily two theories for the existence of all things. There is the view that God created all things as held by the Creationist. Then there is the view that all things evolved over billions of years as held by the Evolutionist.Evolutionist tells us that over billions of years all things have evolved. But the problem is no one has ever seen anything evolve. They just assume that's what happened.What Are the Scientific Indications for a Young Earth? Most people are unaware of the many age estimation method which seem to contradict the typical old-age "dates" mentioned in the media. There are a number of indicators that seem to indicate an age of no more than 10,000 years, at the very most, for the solar system and the Earth."God has the power to take a person and make a new creation out of him.God also has the power to take the present universe, which is corrupted, and destroy it and make a new heavens and earth.God has the power to quicken dead, lifeless matter and give it life.

The Creator of Origins! GOD_01 Genesis 1:1 We see God revealing Himself. We see God making Himself known. Some men believe the world just evolved on its own. The Bible, however, is very clear where this world came from, who put it here, and how it was done. The Trinity was involved in the creation of the world. The word for "God" in this first verse is the Hebrew word Elohim and refers to God's power and might. Elohim is in a plural grammatical form, but it is followed by a singular verb, showing the concept of three persons, yet one Godhead. This is our father's world. And he has placed us here in the midst of it and has given us each the charge of taking care of our little corner.And we're called not only to take care of the earth, but to look out for one another as well. We are to love what God loves, and who God loves. And that's everybody.

There ought to be a definitive beginning and life change for those who have been born again. It should be seen and felt by those around us that god has invaded our soul!

To have greater Victory in the Christian life, we need to learn to discard the "Old Man" of our flesh more and more !

From the admonition to continue in prayer as found in Colossians 4:2-4 and expounded upon in the morning Mission Fest service, this afternoon sermon turns to verses 5 and 6 of the same chapter. The Son of God came to give the children of God understanding of His undeniable absolute truth such that they would know the beginning and the end. Where do you go for truth? Daniel 11 and 12 provides an answer.

Last week we looked at a large view of Genesis. Its meaning is origin or beginnings and it tells us the origin of time, being, action, space, substances, and all life. It is a revelation from God and about God and man's relationship. It is with this in mind that verse one is so important. In the first five words of the first verse we learn two important facts about God. The first is that at the beginning, God already was. He is eternal, from everlasting past to everlasting future. While you and I grow and age and even the world grows and ages, God remains unchanging, eternally God. Join us as we move to the second attribute of God that is revealed, that He is the creator.
