Greg Price, on the Puritan Hard Drive (at http://bit.ly/ci3g2z) writes, 'If you want to understand Reformed theology (i.e., the whole counsel of God) the Puritan Hard Drive is unsurpassed, outside the Bible itself... There is no other resource, outside Scripture itself, where you can find so much of God's truth as in the Puritan Hard Drive.'

Puritan Hard Drive http://ow.ly/fPY4o
If you love the Bible, then you may well be
Reformed. If you think of yourself as Reformed, but
you have seldom or have never read older Reformed
literature, prepare to be challenged. The Puritan
Hard Drive provides primary sources and depth of
theological and spiritual insight which is lacking
in much of what is passed off as genuine Reformed
theology. If you think of yourself as conservative,
the older Puritan and Reformed authors will help you
sort reality from myth in your quest to be truly
Reformed. There are more solid resources for less
money here than anywhere else. I highly recommend
you take responsibility for your soul and spend a
few shekels for this cup of cold water in the midst of the modern religious desert.

If you want to understand Reformed theology (i.e.,
the whole counsel of God) the Puritan Hard Drive is
unsurpassed, outside the Bible itself. The First and
Second Reformations gave us the most faithful
Scriptural teaching and preaching since the time of
the Apostles, and there is no other resource,
outside Scripture itself, where you can find so much
of God's truth as in the Puritan Hard Drive (http://ow.ly/fPY4o).
May the Lord continue to use this most profitable
tool to promote a Third Reformation that encompasses
the whole world (Isaiah 2:2-4)!

In trying to understand the meaning of 'the day of the Lord' in this chapter the sermon looks at its relationship to the Second Coming in 1 Thess.4 and 'the day of the Lord' used in 2 Thess.2 and concludes that a simple equating of these things doesn't work.

The Church: What Is It and Where Is It Going? 3rd Part of First OPC of San Francisco 2013 Conference. What is the future of the Church of Jesus Christ? Looking at Premillennial, Amillennial, Reconstructionist and Puritan Post-Millennialism in the light of Revelation 20.

Our Future Resurrection is based on our Solidarity (communion/fellowship/union) with Christ
This passage is Paul's Eschatology
Vs. 20 – resurrection is a fact of history therefore everything in vs. 12-19 are reversed. We now have a future and a hope. We don't have to be afraid of death.
- God's going to redeem our bodies [Is. 26:19]
- Christ is the first fruits – the first to have a resurrected body
Vs. 21-22 – reason for our assurance / hope in this resurrection [Rom. 5:17-18]
Vs. 23 – Paul tells us the order of the resurrection [1 Thess. 4:13-18 | Mt. 24:30-31]
Vs. 24 – ‘then comes the end' – doesn't' seem to be a long time
- Consummation of all things [Eph 1:20-22 | 2 Thess. 1:8-10]
Vs. 25 – Christ is already reigning and will continue to reign until this is accomplished [Ps. 110:1]
Vs. 26 – death has reigned like a tyrant over all men because all are in Adam
- When is this accomplished? Vs. 23 at the 2nd coming
Vs. 27-8 – Ps. 8 originally to man but Paul applies this to Christ

An important and irrefutable refutation of Amillennialism from Scripture. This inspiring and spectacularly scriptural sermon deals with many of the "big picture" issues surrounding biblical eschatological interpretation -- including when the binding of Satan takes place.
A fascinating section of this message also contains numerous citations and explanations from the Bible related to the time of the future millennium -- providing many scriptures demonstrating that God's Word prophesies that the nations, as nations (and "moral persons" to use classic Covenanter terminology), will come to Christ in a future worldwide Covenanted Reformation that will cover the whole Earth (Isa. 2:2-4, Psalm 72, Ezek. 47:1-12, etc.).
The "realized millennium" of some Amillennialists is also dealt with, as is the Amillennial interpretation of "Israel," where special attention is given to Romans 11 and the part the future restoration of the Jews will play in the glorious days ahead when "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth" and "all nations shall serve him" (Psalm 72:8, 11 -- and remember there are no nations in heaven, so these verses must be referring to a time in history prior to the final judgment!).
If you are an Amillennialist this is one of the most important sermons you will ever hear!
If you are not an Amillennialist this will be an extraordinarily encouraging message about the great victories of Christ's Kingdom, in history and on Earth, which are still in the future, according to what God has revealed in His holy Word (Isaiah 2:2-4).

Why Premillennialism must be rejected.
Some fatal objections to this view.
Why Amillennialism must be rejected.
Satan's little season fatal to five main tenets of Amillennialism.
Why Rushdoony's Postmillennialism must be rejected.
Why orthodox, Puritan Postmillennialism is the truth.
Binding of Satan must be the progress of the gospel.
The thousand years must refer to period of great gospel advance.
The reigning with Christ refers to the glorious advance of the cause for which the martyrs died.
The first resurrection is the glorious reviving of the church on earth.
The second resurrection is the resurgence of ungodliness in Satan's little season.
Some confirmatory evidence.
Parallel Ez 37-48
Destruction of antichrist, 2 Thess 2:8; Isa 11:4.
Israel's ingathering, Rom 11
OT prophecy, Ps 22:27; 67:7;72:17-19; 86:9; 102:21;16; Mal 1:11.
Summary
Three facts of Biblical prophecy - only orthodox, Puritan Postmillennialism squares with all three.
Practical application of these things.
