God has designed the perfect armor for you to wear in your conflict with Satan and his angels. As a believer you are in this war and need to always be wearing this wonderful armor so that you will stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
Here we look at important things to pray for: knowing His glory and glorifying Him in all that we do. The Father glorified Him by giving Him the Father's works to do, as He accomplished these works He perfectly revealed the glory of the Father. The Lord Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to the church on the day of Pentecost, so that now we are to glorify the Son in all that we do. The Holy Spirit is our helper to enable us to know God's glory and live out that glory by the indwelling Holy Spirit. This is a study of the glory that God alone deserves and which will be revealed, without end, forever and ever. It is God's glory revealed that makes heaven wonderful beyond all of our present comprehension and will entirely fill us up forever.
At the turn of each year, God, in his providence offers the opportunity to reflect upon the year that has passed in anticipation of the year that is ahead. It is a time to reassess the past so that we may re-assess, plan and strategize for the realignment of our world in the advancement of the Kingdom of Christ.
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Here we look at the unfathomable riches of Christ that are ours in Christ. The Apostle Paul was chosen as a steward of God to preach the truths of the mystery. These truths were unknown in the past and in the Old Testament and now have been revealed to us and are to be treasured by us as we come to know them by faith.
Paul was willing to suffer in order to give these great truths of the mystery to the church, the body of Christ.
