The Bible opens with God creating man in his image to know, love, and serve him and ends with him dwelling with his people in a new city where they will behold his face forever and ever.
Against sin, death, and every hostile power, God fulfills his covenant promise in Jesus Christ that he will be our God and we will be his people.
We were made to know our God and to know him is eternal life.
