The Confessional Baptist Association was founded on March 11, 1997.
The purpose of our Association is to advance the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ by promoting and defending classic theism and historic Baptist doctrine, as defined by the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith; to train men for the pastoral ministry; to plant churches in both the United States and other countries; to assist churches of the same doctrine to form associations; to assist member churches in their variety of needs; to fellowship with member churches and encourage one another; to promote peace and unity both among and within member churches; and, when appropriate, to cooperate and coordinate with other associations holding to the same doctrine.
While we hold tenaciously to the inerrant, infallible and sufficient Word of God as found in the sixty-six books of the Bible (this being our final source of faith and practice), we embrace and adopt the London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 as a faithful expression of the doctrine taught in the Scriptures. As such, full subscription to this Confession and acceptance of the Association’s Position Papers is the doctrinal position of this Association.
We invite you to inquire further for more information about our association and as to how your church can become a member of this national association of churches.
Statements made and opinions expressed in these sermons do not necessarily represent the convictions of any or all churches of CBA.
