Eschatology is the doctrine of last things or of the end times. Gr. ἔσχατος, éschatos = “last” and ology = “the study of.” It deals with the Rapture of the Church, the Great Tribulation, the Resurrections of the Dead, the Kingdom Age, the Final Judgments, the New Heaven and Earth and Eternity. God’s purpose in history is to glorify Himself! One day God Almighty will put down all His enemies—and it won't be an army of crusaders that make it happen—and it won't be fanatical jihadists that make it happen—It will be the "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS" (Rev. 19).
