The Thousand Years

What is the millennium or 1000 years of Revelation 20? Over against both pre and postmillennialism, the sermon explains the position of amillennialism. The 1000 years is the figurative period of time from the ascension of Christ into heaven until shortly before His return, during which time Satan is bound and the gospel is preached to the gathering of the church.
