Seeing Our Weakness

Jesus is troubled. One of his disciples will betray him. This is part of the plan of God, but it does not absolve Judas of responsibility. God is sovereign, but man is responsible. The news upsets the disciples, but moments later they argue over who would be the greatest. The heart of man is fickle. Peter is convinced that he will remain faithful, but Christ knows otherwise. As this story unfolds we discover that we are weaker than we care to admit. In our weakness we discover the strength of Christ.
