Cometh The Hour – Cometh The Man!

This is the first in a proposed set of seven messages on the Life of Gideon.

Centring on Gideon's Call, we are reminded of how our God specialises in taking weak, insignificant people and transforming them by His Person, presence and power!

1. The CIRCUMSTANCES Surrounding The Call Of Gideon;

Gideon lived in an age when it was difficult to serve God: his people had turned their backs on the Lord and were under the control of their enemies.

2. The CHALLENGE In The Call Of Gideon;

Gideon did not feel up to the task. Riddled with doubts and fears, God had to lead him over the hurdles of Discouragement and Insufficiency.

3. The CONFIRMATION Of The Call Of Gideon.

Gideon was equipped for service through:

a) The Speech Of God
b) The Sight Of God
c) The Sign Of God.
