God's Decree

1st – TWO IMPORTANT PREREQUISITES FOR THIS STUDY

(1st) – FAITH – it's crucial that we have a Spirit-wrought conviction that;

a) What The Bible Says Is God's Word – 2 Timothy 3;16; Romans 3:4

b) God Is Awesome – He is very great… and very good… absolutely sovereign… all-wise… all-holy and just in all His ways… and He is greater than our capacity to comprehend Him… … Psalm 139:1-6,14 … Psalm 145:3-9… Jeremiah 32:17-18 … Isaiah 45:4-9

(2nd) – HOLY SELF-DOUBT – one of the greatest stumbling blocks to understanding the truth, is our sinful tendency to think that we know more than we really know… – Proverbs 3:5-7; Isaiah 55:8-9;
