The under-shepherds p1

Before we get into what appears to be the natural flow of the text to the creation of the first deacon board we should explore what was meant by the word "we". Yes, there is the apostles themselves who are speaking here but all in all the word "we" is meant to include all of the under-shepherds that the Lord has provided for His church. If it was only the apostles who could actually make the deacons than the deacon board would have gone extinct with John the Beloved.
