Open the Book: Herald Society Part 2

For those who have heard Tony's preaching, the three sermons he delivered at the inaugural Herald Society conference in Philadelphia, PA (Sept 26-28, 2013), may be the most intense and emotional sermons he has preached to date. The intensity and emotion builds with each message. In order to understand the full context of these messages, it is best to listen to all three in their entirety and in the order they were presented during the conference.

Tony preached this sermon immediately following Chris Sippley's sermon regarding full-time ministry as an open-air preacher. Tony was so impacted by Sippley's sermon that he was moved to spend the first 20 minutes of his session explaining with a great deal of candor and emotion why most men who watch his videos and read his blog, and are motivated to consider beginning a full-time street evangelism ministry only want the perceived "good stuff." Such men don't want the often unseen bad and ugly aspects of ministry that comes with a life devoted to open-air preaching. Tony went on to explain why open-air preachers must hold the Book, open the Book, read the Book, and explain the Book.
