The Importance of the Revelation

Eschatology is a critical issue for the Church because at the heart of its understanding and foundation is the matter of hermeneutics. Furthermore, the book of the Revelation is intended to have practical application for believers to understand the present world with the hope of what God has revealed as future. As the final revelation of God to man it brings together all previous revelation He has given. With this final revelation God has given a glimpse into how He is going to bring His creation and creatures back to the original perfect condition in which He created the heavens and the earth and all things therein. Final judgment for the rebels at the time of sentencing and final glory for the saved who will once again and forevermore live in His presence.
