Receiving and Being Filled with the Holy Spirit

The book of acts is the record of the powerful spreading of the kingdom of God. Every person has two great needs. The first is to repent, believe the gospel and be washed in the blood of the Lamb. The second is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. In Scripture this filling is never presented as being automatic. Being filled with the Holy Spirit means the God who bought us now lives inside us. God wants every believer without exception to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that we can be a testimony of the life and glory of Jesus Christ.
