From France to Texas, From Atheism to Roman Catholicism to the Biblical Jesus

37 ( 22 | 15 )

Camille Jolly, a citizen of France living outside of Paris who was watching "Christian Answers of Austin, Texas" videos over the internet there. This is a young woman's journey from atheism and then into Roman Catholicism & finally into a "born again" (John 3:3-8, Titus 3:5, Romans 8:1-17, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, etc.) personal relationship by the power of the Holy Spirit with the true & living Biblical Jesus Christ. This is a story of the hopelessness & meaninglessness of atheism to the empty & shallow formalism of the Roman Catholic religious system of man made traditions & works righteousness to a vibrant & spiritually alive relationship with the Christ of the holy scriptures (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

Camille Jolly, although a French woman, can speak English very well & also is an accomplished classical guitarist & singer of Gregorian Chant. Although Camille arrived in Texas unannounced, unexpected & unknown after a three week cargo ship across the Atlantic Ocean, the providence of God took care of her all along the way of her journey. Her Biblical knowledge is evident as she relates her odyssey from atheism to saving faith in Christ Jesus, particularly concerning the Biblical doctrine of justification.

Are We Justified by Faith (Romans) or by Works (James)?
In Romans it says,
•"because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight . . . " (Rom. 3:20)
•"for we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law." (Rom. 3:28)
•"For what does the Scripture say? ‘And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.'" (Rom. 4:3)
