Victory from God in Spite of Our Sin

The northern kingdom of Israel was a spiritual disaster, ruled by wicked king after wicked king. They were completely undeserving of God's grace. Yet, God made a covenant with Abraham, so He would remain faithful to Israel, giving them victory they certainly didn't earn.
