Love

In this section of Scripture, the Apostle Paul urges all Christians to “love one another” and to put to death the “works of the flesh.” The works of the flesh bring death and destruction in our personal lives and relationships, but the Spirit gives life. The Fruit of the Spirit is a harvest of God’s righteousness indwelling the life of the believer. We are commanded to walk in step with the Spirit by living out the fruit of the Spirit in our live. In this sermon, the foundational fruit of the Spirit—love—is addressed.
