Righteous Giving Pt 1

In their obsession with superficial, selfish and godless righteousness, designed to make them appear good before men and feel good in themselves, but utterly careless of God, the Scribes and Pharisees proved themselves to be condemned hypocrites. Jesus wanted His people to have a righteousness that was profound, selfless and totally focussed upon God. In these verses He shows what that means when it comes to giving, and in so doing calls us to a giving that is nothing less than divine.
