As Christ is superior to all the previous prophets, so he is greater than the angels. Under the Old Covenant angels served as mediators between God and his people. But now one greater than angels has appeared, the Lord Jesus Christ, whom, in fact, angels worship, and is a Mediator of far greater worth than the angels.
