- Christ's blood begins to be shed v26-28. Errors to be avoided concerning the blood of Christ - the blood not to be regarded as divine, serious implications in confounding the two natures. Rev 7:14 - No literal application of the blood, its virtue applied to the cleansing of the soul.
- Christ the King mocked v28-30. A call to defend and contend for the rights of Christ in all areas of life.
