Wise in Your Own Conceits

Men are naturally wise in their own eyes, in themselves. We heavily fortify our inner man by emotion, by stubbornness, by philosophy, logic, and many other things, including scripture. But Scripture calls us to not be wise in our own eyes, but to give ourselves up the Christ, the wisdom of God.
