Spirit-Filled Peace

Human beings are hostile toward the things of God (Romans 8.6-7). By nature, we are enemies of God and need to be reconciled to our Creator. As a result, our consciences are seared; and the Law of God brings judgment upon unbelief. What is needed? God must reconcile us to himself! God’s people are promised peace by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. His death is the basis for our reconciliation with God; and therefore, we can know peace in our relationship with God and in our relationship with our neighbor.
