Jethro, a man of abundance

The name Jethro means man of abundance and at this time in Moses' life, Jethro was certainly bringing an abundance of blessings with him. Jethro brought not just the family of Moses but memories that Moses would need to help him go forward by acknowledging where God has brought him from. When he came he abounded with an attitude of praise for God. All this lead to an application of wisdom that was sorely needed by Moses.
