The Sufficiency of Scripture

“Difficult times will come.” There will be “Godlessness in the Last Days.” These are just a few themes of 2 Timothy 3. Difficult times have come and will continue to come. This is promised by our Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospels, and we are warned by the Apostles. Scripture teaches that we are in the Last Days. What is a young pastor like Timothy to do? What are pastors and teachers to do today? God provides His all-sufficient Word to lead us to truth and to guide us in His ways. Scripture is sufficient because of its invaluable wisdom; its divinely inspired; and its usefulness.
