The Christian's Liberty From Sin

In preparation for Romans 14, which deals primarily with issues of Christian Liberty, it is necessary that the believer understand the basis of Christian Liberty. It is not enough to establish the balance between ethical behavior and interpersonal relationships, unless we first ground them in the redemptive work of Christ. In doing so, we see liberty, not as a right, but a gift, the necessary consequence of being freed from Satan's tyranny and placed under the yoke of Christ.
