11 - The Supernatural Character of Christianity

Today, much of the church seems to avoid the word "supernatural" in speaking of the Christian faith. Many Christians seem afraid of what unbelievers will think if we speak in these terms.

But if you take away the supernatural character of the Christian faith, what do you have left? You have a religion that is emptied of its power. You have a Bible that is no longer the Word of God, but merely the word of man.

Bible believing Christians and the true church of Jesus Christ must never be ashamed of the supernatural character of the Christian faith. And that is why – if indeed we have been raised with Christ – we must "seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God."
