When God is With Us

As we turn to the study of our text in Psalm 46 and also as we use Heidelberg Catechism Question/Answer 1 as a commentary on the same, we rejoice to discover that no matter what may befall us of good or of ill personally or collectively, and no matter what the national or international news headlines may be blaring or declaring, we as God’s people can and must surely rest and rejoice in incredible comfort because of the fact that by God’s grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, God is With Us!
