Him Who Works vs. Believe God - Works = Debt, Death and Ruin

Pastor Chronister starts this sermon with a great statement. It's "Whosoever believes...", not "Whosoever works...". He keeps pounding this point in because so many churches out there are either works based or they want to add a little works so people attending feel better. My opinion is that there are 'pastors' out there who find that when they sprinkle in a little works, there coffers get full faster and people like them more. Belief is not a physical act. It is a supernatural, nonphysical act. You are saved with a nonphysical act... a spiritual act. Our pastor goes to great lengths to help us understand all this. This takes us into the 5 warning of the book of Hebrews. These are things that will help you see the Bible in a clear light. I'll give you this warning... This teaching might just mess up what you've been taught… or it might just make you mad. So, this sermon, should you decide to listen to it, will make you undesirable in most churches. I could give you many more disclaimers and warnings but... I don't want to drive everybody away before they hear the sermon.
