Who are the Real Peacemakers?

A biblical peacemaker is someone who works to restore peace with others and between others. He or she is passionate about seeing relationships restored and persons reconciled. Of primary importance is a peacemaker's interest in his fellow man's relationship with God! It is not wearing peace signs on your shirt, holding our two fingers to people, attending anti-war peace rallies or singing with John Lennon “give peace a chance.” Praise God for such a peacemaker as Jesus Christ … “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death…” Colossians 1:19-22a.
