The Purpose of the Pastor

It is curious what some people consider to be the job and responsibilities of the pastor.
Expectations range from church to church.
Culture and society has also placed certain expectations upon the ministry.
If you asked 25 church members what they thought their pastor’s job was, it would be interesting to hear their replies.
If you were to ask 25 pastors what their duties as pastor were, it would also be interesting what they would say.
Sadly, I believe the average pastor is more concerned about what the people think his job is, rather than what the Bible determines his responsibilities are.
