Training A Child

“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

What is it we want the most for our children? Beauty, education, status, wealth, a good job, etc.

What we want and what we are commanded to teach our children often conflict.

Author Jerry Bridges states that “most people deal with their children as if they were born only for the world…they educate them for time and not for eternity."
