Without Excuse

After condemning the outwardly rebellious, unbelieving and immoral people of this world (1:16-32), Paul turns to the moral and religious - the good people, the nice people. How hard it is to admit that sin runs deep and how much we need the righteousness of Christ. The self-righteous are blind to their own sin. What does God say to the self-righteous moral person? In these verses, there are at least six reasons God condemns the self-righteous.
