Homosexuality: How Are We to Respond?

Last week, we devoted significant time looking at the different ways that people approach the Bible’s teachings about homosexuality. Though some Christians have reinterpreted the Scripture through their experiences to make homosexuality okay, the plain reading of Scripture is even understood by non-Christians. Homosexual behavior is sin incompatible with the Christian life and stands in opposition to the clear design of God. In light of that, how are we to respond as Christians? Many of you know someone who is attracted to the same-sex. What would Jesus have you do? How can you love your homosexual neighbor, coworker, son or daughter?
