Perpetually Perfect in Christ

In contemplating the accomplishment of your justification we must never overlook the coming of Jesus Christ in carnal flesh to achieve redemption by the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit of God. There is an eternal connection between Christ and His chosen people; a binding together of their need and of His abundant supply. Here the apostle applies the prophecy of Jeremiah 31:31-33 to the eternal purpose of God. God gives to His chosen people new hearts and new minds; spiritual natures and an attainment of God's presence.
