Transformed by Grace

We must make our election and calling sure. We must test ourselves to see if we are in the faith. The Thessalonians were a part of the elect because:

1. there was a decisive break in idolatry in their lives.
2. This resulted in an act of service to God.
3. Paul saw a patient waiting for Christ.
4. They knew he was the one who delivered them from the wrath to come.
