Jesus Wept

Jesus made sure that Lazarus was completely dead, with no hope for a cure before He went to Bethany. Jesus wept as He witnessed the unbelief of those gathered around Martha and Mary. He wept as He witnessed the temporal focus of Lazarus’ sisters. Physical death is a certain part of physical life. Eternal life is what matters and we find only in Him. Are you like Martha and Mary, concerned only about your loved ones’ physical life, or is your focus on the condition of their soul that will live forever, either alive in Christ or dead in sin?
