Heaven

We consider the counterpart to the prior doctrinal sermon preached on Hell. We consider a doctrinal sermon on Heaven and its glories. We discover that everything that hell is, heaven is its complete opposite. It is, as Edwards once called it, a world of love. A world of comfort, not torment, with Jesus Christ at the center of it all. A place of innumerable saints who love God and love one another. A place devoid of the worm that gnaws away at our consciences. A place with no tears, where the former things have passed away and God remembers our sins no more only for the work of Jesus Christ. We also consider what use there is in our lives that we know the doctrine of heaven. Revelation 21.
