When the Going Gets Tough

When Moses came to Israel and told them the good news that God had heard their cry, they rejoiced and believed. But they did not listen to the other side of what they were told, that it would involve trial as well as deliverance. Pharaoh, for his part, would not recognise God's claims, and would not let Israel go, but rather burdened them still further. Yet God is still over all, and will accomplish all his promises.
