Why do some professing Christians go off the deep end? Why do some leave the church? Why do some behave in immoral and godless ways? Some would say it is because they lost their salvation. Some would say it is because they just aren't living for the Lord right now. The Bible, in 1 John 2:19, says it is because they were never true Christians in the first place.
