First, the Resurrection

Christ's death and resurrection address our greatest problem: our alienation from God because of sin, resulting in death. Jesus rose from the dead, and became the last Adam, the life-giving Spirit. When we believe in Him, we are connected to him covenantally and mystically, so that he gives us his spiritual blessings of justification and adoption.
