The Church (5)

Today we argue further from the Scriptures the historic Baptist view of church government, that being congregational. We speak of the need for a high view of the local church. We believe that this is best seen when the local church is ordered according to congregational polity. We believe that this is the manner in which the local churches governed themselves in the New Testament. This is in accordance with Baptist practice in history.
