The Inevitability of the Creed

Introducing a series on the Apostles' Creed, we consider why Creeds exist. They are inevitable, as whenever someone asks us what we believe, the reply is, by definition, a credal statement, that is to say a statement of belief. A Christian creed is a summary of the Bible's teaching, not of human speculation.
