Woe is me! Here I am! Send me!

218 ( 150 | 68 )

Have you ever been met by God? Isaiah was, and it filled him with fear and dread - at least to begin with. But when the seraph's coal touched his lips and he heard these words, "Your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for," he was a changed man. No longer filled with dread, Isaiah was free and eager to say, "Here I am! Send me!"
I pray this week that we too might 'meet with God' and be transformed as we hear his Word afresh to us in his Son – "Your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for." I wonder what it might it mean for you to say, "Here I am! Send me!"?
