No Excuses Accepted

Proposition: God graciously calls lost sinners to salvation and to service. He delivers us from a self-centered existence (sin) and continues to work in us “both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (Phil. 2:13). Yet we must “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Phil. 2:12) which includes overcoming the temptation to return to a self-centered life. We were “bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's” (1 Cor. 6:20).
