I Rejoice In Thy Salvation

One of the most wonderful and beautiful prayers came from the heart of Hanna and is recorded in our text. She gave the theme of her prayer as "the Lord (s)...salvation". The prayer is clearly Messianic. She referred to God being like a "rock". This was originally revealed to Moses and then clarified as being Christ by the apostle Peter. And, she closed the prayer with the first time in the Scriptures referring to "his anointed" that is Messiah or Christ.
