Systematic Theology, Addendum: Creation Vs. Evolution
Series Summary of Systematic Theology
The Bible speaks about how God has revealed himself through history, and works toward the redemption of men and the creation; first through the sons of Jacob, in the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, and in the 'latter days' in the manifestation of His Son, through the teachings of the Apostles. It is not a handbook on history, science, or art. But, where it touches upon these disciplines, it is infallible, and can be relied upon as a reliable source of information, (revelation).
Today we focus on what the Bible teaches about the creation: how it was formed, and the nature of mankind, as seen through the accounts of creation, and redemption. This biblical view is contrasted to our current sociological view of creation as understood in the Theory of Evolution.
