Redemption and Repentance

There is a message from John which he declares authoritatively as an apostle and an eyewitness of Christ. This message is just as relevant today as John details (through a series of condition statements) that we must live our lives in the light, away from the grasp of sin. This does not mean though that we are entirely without sin, for that would be impossible, but the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ washes the clinging evil that never leaves us. So there is great hope for the believer in that redemption, even as we are driven to our knees daily to pray for repentance.
