God's Election, Israel's Remnant

310

Is Israel still the chosen people of God? Is there still special significance for the Nation Israel, and for being a Jew? Is there any future for Israel as a nation? What is the relationship of Jews and Gentiles today, and in the future? Does the rejection of the Messiah, by Israel, mean that Israel has been rejected by God? Since Israel remains a stubborn and obstinate people, in their pride and arrogance, they continue to refuse to bow the knee before God and believe in His Savior. Has Israel been rejected by God? Many people believe that God has rejected Israel. That Israel no longer occupies a special place in the plan of God. That there is no particular future for the nation Israel, because Israel has rejected God's provision for Salvation. Paul's going to show that it is not possible for God to reject the nation Israel. But, that God has sovereignly chosen, from within Israel, a remnant that will experience all the promises that He has given the Nation Israel.
