The Fear of the LORD or Insanity

The fear of the LORD is the foundation for all knowledge and wisdom.

All people everywhere know that there is a God, they know the basic attributes of this God, they know basic morality, and they know that this God is angry at human sin.

But people suppress this knowledge in an act of the will, rooted in the emotions. By so doing, they begin to plunge themselves deeper and deeper into insanity.

When I believed myself to be an atheist, deep down inside I feared that there really was a God, and that thought terrified me because I was living in self-indulgence.

America is under the kind of judgment from God spelled out in Romans 1:18-32, and it makes no difference whom we elect as President in November because we have been given over to national insanity. Until we repent for the suppression of the knowledge of God out of our national consciousness, we will continue to be given over increasingly to a reprobate mind.
