The Necessity of Holiness

Many make the grace of God to be a license for sin, by denying the believer's DUTY to "follow after holiness," but that is not the truth of God's Word.

"Without holiness no man shall see the LORD" — and that's talking about a LIFE of practical righteousness in this present world. If the "doctrines of grace" lead to licentiousness, then the heart is NOT right before God. A regenerate heart will PANT AFTER GOD, and the WAYS OF GOD will be pleasant and not grievous to the true people of God.
